Customer orientation is a part of corporate culture that puts the customer, rather than the product or sale, at the center of the business. When an organization has a customer-centric culture, proactively the customer experience is at the heart of the strategy and no longer the result of customer complaints to customer service.

Digitization is the computerization of Industry 4.0. Digitization wants to evolve a Business Model and process data through IT to optimize business performance. There are impacts on strategy, organization, production, corporate culture as well as the relationship with the consumer.

The four industrial revolutions
The first revolution was the shift from production by hand, to the use of hydraulic power or steam.
The second revolution followed the intensive use of rail and telegraph.
The third took place after World War II and is known as the "digital revolution" with the production of computers and software using floating point and Boolean logic (yes-no).
The digitization of Industry 4.0 involves the computerization of production processes, impacting the way of managing the business and the way we work in it.

The fifth industrial revolution. Has already arrived! it is the interaction of man with artificial intelligence for personalized mass production.

Mainly tools. Computerization equips the company with IT tools. For example, by implementing office automation or business management software such as an ERP.

Efficiency indicator. Key performance indicators are often the aggregate of data from an information system; they generally assess the achievement of a strategic objective or of an element which contributes to it.

Strategic concept of the status of digital evolution. A comparison can be made with a human who grows and evolves from childhood, pre-teenage, teenager etc. until full maturity. Several cycles follow one another, unlike a transformation such as the caterpillar which turns into a butterfly. Digital maturity requires several transformations.

A technical process. Converting information into digital data, for example scanning a paper document into PDF.

A Project A project is a temporary effort to create a unique product, service or result relating to a value.
A Programme groups together and manages several projects related to the same value or group of values.
A Portfolio manages corporate values and ensures that the projects, programmes and operations it brings together are aligned with corporate strategy. Projects and programmes are tactical and the portfolio is strategic.

The corporate strategy designates the set of resource allocation choices that define the activities in order to achieve its objectives.

The strategy is about medium to long term goals.

Tactics are about organizing and how to do it. It is the description of how to combine the operating methods and the means available to achieve a goal.

Tactics are about short-term goals.

Tactical concept of the implementation of transformation phases. The comparison can be made with the caterpillar which turns into a butterfly once. Conversely, a child goes through several cycles to reach maturity: childhood, pre-teen, teenager, etc.
